A lot of people on Instagram ask me to recommend them a Fine Dining restaurant that serves Halal food, and I always struggle because truthfully I’ve only been to a handful. So in this post I’ve included (1) places I’ve been to, and (2) some fancy restaurants that I’ve found on Google, to make life easier for you!
As you can probably imagine, most of these restaurants will serve Alcohol. In fact, at most 1 or 2 of the restaurants I’ve listed below don’t, so do bare this in mind when making your decision if this is something you’d rather avoid.
A couple disclaimers before we get to the list:
Disclaimer: I’ve researched/contacted all of these restaurants to verify their Halal status, but please confirm on the day of visiting as this may change without notice.
Disclaimer no.2: A lot of these restaurants have dress-codes (e.g. Sheesh Chigwell), so do check their website before visiting.
Disclaimer no.3: Please always always ALWAYS check when visiting a restaurant if they use Alcohol in any of their dishes. This goes beyond fine dining restaurants, as a lot of restaurants do this and won’t tell you if you just ask for Halal, so do ask specifically whether there is Alcohol in any of the food!
Disclaimer no.4: Before you attack me for including some of the restaurants below that you wouldn’t class as fine dining – I’ve tried to include a wide mix of restaurants that would be great for a special occasion!
