Elite Restaurant, Marrakech, Morocco

If you’re ever across the pond in Marrakech, then I’d definitely recommend a trip to Elite! Located in the famous La Gueliz – a place that you’ll enter and forget you’re in Morocco as you’ll see a Starbucks, and even a Zara (btw – the clothes prices are sadly the same as in the UK).

I’ve visited this restaurant both times I’ve visited the city, and it was really nice how one of the waiters (Sufiyan) remembered me from my previous visit a few years back, which was a nice touch!

Living in the UK, you tend to forget that smoking indoor is permitted in other countries, and to be honest I don’t know how I ever survived when it was allowed – as I completed detest the smell of smoke! Many restaurants in Marrakech has a smoking and a non-smoking area, so if like me you dislike the smell of smoke, then be sure to asked to be seated in the non-smoking area!

They have a huge menu, of which I’ve tried a large amount from my many trips both times I visited the city!

As my sister is a Vegetarian, they put together a Veggie Tagine for her!

… and they also do desserts!
