Blue Lagoon, Reykjavik, Iceland
No trip to Reykjavik is complete without a trip to the beautiful Blue Lagoon!

And while you’re there, you’ll get hungry believe me – a whole day of relaxing is harder than it looks!

They have a really fancy restaurant named the LAVA restaurant within the building adjacent to the Lagoon. Of course – that also means that the prices were crazy too! It’s a very “different” experience, you go into the restaurant in your gowns, but their service is equal to that of a Michelin-starred restaurant, so yeah – once in a lifetime experience for sure!

I went for their Cod, which was served with Sunchokes, Almonds, Apples and this delicious Brown Butter Sauce!

Their menu is forever changing, but most of their dishes are seafood based, so as long as you like your fish – you’ll have a great experience!
Price-wise, we had their 2 course menu. The main as above, and the starter (below), and the price for this was 6600 ISK which works out to around £50 – and comes with a complimentary drink too, as well as complimentary table bread.
