Fire & Stone, London

Being a Tastecard holder – when I want Pizza, I always end up at Pizza Express! However, on this occasion I figured I should probably venture out and find some more good Pizza’s around London!

What multiple Google searches resulted in, was this restaurant tucked away a 5 minutes walk from Charing Cross Station.

Personally, I’ve always been a bit unsure about Egg on Pizza! My Dad used to always get it on his Pizza’s whenever we went to Pizza Express, so I thought I’d give it a go – and it works! At least at Fire & Stone it does!

The picture you see above is the Florence pizza. I was definitely a fan – the Pizza tasted like it was made on garlic bread, but the Egg made sure that it wasn’t too dry!

Service-wise, quite possibly the best service I’ve experienced at a pizza restaurant! The staff were really friendly, talkative and our waiter spent a good 5 minutes talking to us about all the Pizza’s – which really helped because they have so many options!

(btw, we also tried their Churros – but these were finished long before I managed to get my camera out – and these were also delicious!)

Note: they don’t have any Halal options here, but plenty of Veg Pizzas!
