Ramadan Decor by Eidparty.co.uk
Eidparty.co.uk sent me over a tonne of Ramadan-themed gifts to decorate my house with. Now, those who have followed Halal Food Diary for a while will know that I’m not the most creative person in the world, so I had to get the help of my artsy sister (and my dad) to decorate our dining area.
Their decorations come in a variety of colour schemes which is great because you’re bound to find something to suit your house. Our kitchen/dining room area has a gold/brown theme to it, which was perfect because I had so much to choose from.
I really like how they have videos on their website for each item that requires assembly, making it super-easy (and dummy-proof) to put them together.
Everything on the website is pretty well priced, especially considering the fact that pretty much all items are re-usable, so you can store them somewhere and bring them out again next Ramadan. Or – if you’re like my mum and really liked the wall decorations, then you can keep them up permanently! We’ve just hammered 2 nails into our lounge wall to hand up the Crescent and Mosque decorations, so these will be here for the foreseeable future!
I’ve included a link for everything that I was gifted, so you can easily get onto the correct page. I’d definitely advise having a browse on their website in general too, as they really do have a crazy-big variety, so you might something more suited to your home colour-scheme.
So I got busy, and here is what I came up with:

Ramadan Mubarak Foil Balloon’s
Now when I first saw these I though *ugh* 1. I don’t have access to Helium right now, and 2. They’re going to be a nightmare to stick up. But to my surprise, I was proven wrong on both! These don’t require Helium, you just blow them up using a straw that they provide, and once you pull the straw out it automatically just snaps closed. You can also deflate and re-use these again, so it’s a great one-time investment for under £10. They also have these for other occasions including Eid.

Cake Toppers
No doubt you’ll be making some Cakes or other sweet treats while we’re in lockdown, as for my last 2/3 trips to the Supermarkets there has been NO sight of flour whatsoever! So if you are making any cake (firstly, please send me some!) then these Cake Toppers would give them a festive finish. They have a variety of Cake Toppers, including Ramadan-themed, Eid-themed, pictures of mosques and other Islamic-themed designs such as the Crescent moon. Perfect for if you want to upload a picture to the gram of your bakes!

Food Tray
Sadly this Ramadan we won’t be able to have family over for Iftaar, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t turn Iftaar at home with our parents/siblings/children into a party! Eidparty have a selection of Food Tins & Serving Trays which can be used to present your creations this Ramadan. They have some stunning serving trays with Islamic Geometric designs, perfect for if you’re making Shortbread or other biscuits, but my favourite was the 2-tier Food Stand, which I’ll be using to fill with dates. An easy way to add some colour and excitement to the dinner table this Ramadan.

Cake Cutters
You don’t need to be a kid to get excited over Cake Cutters, even I got super excited when I found these Ramadan-themed Cake Cutters on their website. I went for the 4-pack which includes a Mosque, a Crescent moon and star, and 2 Lanterns. If you’re planning to make biscuits this Ramadan then why not turn them into Ramadan themed!

Table Runner

I think this was probably my favourite item that I ordered. So inexpensive at £8, and literally adds so much life to the table! It’s of a good size (1.5m) so will fit perfectly onto a 6-person dinner table.

Table Accessories
Lastly, they literally have the widest variety of Table accessories to add something extra to your table this Ramadan. From Lanterns, Fairy Lights and also Wooden decorations like this Crescent moon which can be painted to any colour of your choice!
