Tik Tok’s Baked Feta Pasta Recipe
The last Tik Tok trend I tried out was the Dalgona Coffee and I hate to say it, but at the time, it did kinda change my life. I was making it almost everyday, and I even hosted a work Zoom social where I taught my colleagues how to make it! When I saw of a new Tik Tok viral food trend pop up, I knew it had to be good. Ok maybe I also tried the Tortilla wrap hack which I’m sure you’ll all sick of seeing all over your Instagram feed.
This time the recipe requires more than just whisking together 3 ingredients – but even still, I’d say it’s pretty easy and fool-proof! The simplified recipe has only 3 ingredients – Tomatoes, Feta Cheese & Pasta, but since the trend has come out there have been some pretty impressive renditions of the recipe put together, so I put myself to the challenge to see what I could come up with!
I’m sure anyone who lived out for uni is no stranger to making pasta, and this dish is honestly not much more difficult – and I kinda wish Tik Tok was around 8 years ago so I could’ve spiced up my Pasta & Ketchup a bit (yes, that is how I make and love it – please don’t judge me!). All is takes is putting your Feta cheese into a baking tray surrounded by tomatoes and into the oven for 30 mins, meanwhile prepping some pasta, mix and viola!
P.s. if you go to the supermarket to buy Feta Cheese and it’s sold out, then you know why – blame Tik Tok. Apparently in Finland Feta Cheese has been impossible to find ever since this viral sensation came out!
Baked Feta Pasta Tik Tok Recipe
Ingredients
- 200 g Feta Cheese
- 300 g Cherry Tomatos
- 225 g Pasta
- 5-7 Garlic Cloves
- Olive Oil
- Oregano
- Salt & Pepper
- Spinach (optional)
- Crushed Chilli Flakes (optional)
- Fresh Chopped Basil (optional)
Instructions
- Start by placing your slab of Feta Cheese into the middle of your baking dish – these usually come in slabs of 200/250g – either will be great. I personally used an 8×12 inch glass baking dish, but any that you have will do – don't worry too much about the size
- Place the Tomatos and Garlic around the Feta Cheese, and drizzle with a generous helping of Olive Oil. Sprinkle over some Oregano, Salt and Pepper – feel free to add as little or as much as you like, enough to coat everything will be perfect. Lightly mix together the Tomatos and Garlic so that they're evenly coated in the spices/oil
- Place into the oven to bake for 30-35 mins at 200°C
- While that's in the oven, cook your desired choice of Pasta using the instructions on the packaging – feel free to increase the serving size if you'd like to feed more mouths. Save a few Tbsp's of the Pasta Water to add into the mixture in the next step
- Remove the baking dish from the oven, sprinkle over the Fresh Chopped Basil, another dash of Olive Oil, Crushed Chilli Flakes (to taste) and give it a mix. I also added in a few Tbsp's of the Pasta water, but this is again is completely optional
- Pour your pasta over the mixture, adding in a handful of Spinach (if you wish!) and give it a final mix.
- Enjoy!

Absolutely delicious, thank you so much! The chilli flakes gave a great kick and I also put paprika with the tomatoes and cheese in the oven. Will definitely make again!
